The
Head of the Board of Trustees of the Eastern Region Council for
Social Responsibility, Her Highness Princess Abeer Bint Faisal Bin
Turki, listened to a summary about the third edition of the productive
families exhibition, 2017, organized by Asharqia Chamber under the
patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz In cooperation with the Dhahran International Company Expo, in which
282 productive families, the luttle merchant and 19 charitable societies
are participating in the incubation of more than 400 productive
families.
Her
Highness praised the exhibition and its mission, which is in line with
the Council's mission to motivate the public, private and charitable
sectors to integrate and build initiatives and activities that enhance
responsibility by developing productive families to acquire the
necessary skills professionally, administratively and commercially and encourage them to go into economic fields.
She
stressed the role of the Council in enhancing the national sense by
activating the social responsibility to serve the society, its members
and institutions in all charitable fields, and its keenness to empower
the Saudi producing family in the 2017 exhibition through exchanging
experiences and coordinating activities in order to achieve the
goals of each society and raise the efficiency of performance
through programs. Which serves the public interest of the charitable sector in the Eastern Region.
The
presentation focused on the map of the productive families and artisans
participating in the exhibition, as well as what they called the
success partners of the charitable societies, committees and development
centers incubating the productive families and responsible for the
nomination of 85% of the participants as well as the developments
by the exhibition since the launch of its first version in
December 2015 until its version Third, in terms of the number of productive families and artisans
participating, which increased from 180 households in 2015 to 252
families in 2017 and 30 little merchants.
For
his part, the Secretary General of Asharqiah Chamber, Abdulrahman
bin Abdullah Al Wabel, praised the Princess's interest in the exhibition
and her keenness to see the map of its facilities and the compatibility
of goals between the Chamber and the Board of Trustees of the
Eastern Region Council for Social Responsibility in the Eastern Region.
He pointed that the brevity provided an explanation of the
identity of the exhibition, its goals , vision, mission,
participants, classifications and features given to the families and
incubating societies, as well as the training plan for the participants
before the launch and finally the general plan of the exhibition.
He
pointed that this session of the exhibition is trying to provide
the participants with the principles necessary to establish projects and
how to start in the business world on sound economic basis, by
introducing them to marketing and modern investment tools, in addition
to how to build the commercial identity and create the marketing corner
and other modern ways to attract Customers.
Al Wabel
said that the exhibition of 2017 is an extension of the goals of
the Chamber to make the productive families an added value in the
national economy. He stressed the importance of productive families'
projects because they bear important social and humanitarian dimensions
as their role in alleviating the unemployment and demand for government
jobs as well as its role in rooting the national heritage.
On
the other hand, the Council held its monthly meeting in its seventh
session hosting the charitable societies titled "solid building". The meeting discussed the third
edition of the productive families exhibition, 2017, and how to improve
the performance of productive families participating in it.
